YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Wendy Muir spent 42 years as a Senior Secondary Art and Design educator in Adelaide, South Australia, guiding countless young artists through the process of developing their own work. Alongside her teaching, she kept up a visual arts practice, primarily as a painter. Since retiring in late 2022, her textile work has taken center stage, and she now works in contemporary quilting, creating whole cloth, raw edged applique pieces. Few people understand how ideas become a body of work better than someone who has taught it for four decades and lived it in her own studio. Follow her on Instagram at @wendlesm.
