YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Mirjam Gielen is a Dutch textile artist whose organic embroidery practice translates nature's textures, patterns, and colors into evocative textile art. Working primarily on eco-printed and eco-dyed fabrics with reclaimed threads, she has built a thriving teaching practice through online workshops, live courses at West Dean College (UK), and her Patreon community filled with tutorials and artistic inquiry. As a natural storyteller, Mirjam believes sharing creative knowledge is a driving force for joyful making—an ethos that makes her the ideal guide for creating goddess figures that carry both technical skill and personal meaning.
